Terms of Service
Effective August 21, 2026
PageBell helps you watch selected information on public webpages and receive email alerts when that information changes. These Terms explain the rules for using the Service, including important limits: automated checks are not guaranteed to be exact or uninterrupted, and PageBell is not a substitute for verifying important information at its original source.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PageBell website, webpage monitoring service, account features, and related emails (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live. If you use PageBell for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
2. What PageBell provides
PageBell can retrieve a public webpage, use your natural-language instruction to identify selected content, save a current value, check an activated monitor again, and send an email when the observed value changes.
The free preview is a one-time demonstration of the value PageBell can currently find. It does not start ongoing monitoring and is not a recurring free trial. Ongoing checks require an activated monitor and, when paid billing is available, an active subscription.
PageBell may use automated and AI-assisted extraction. Results can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing alerts and verifying important information on the original webpage before relying on it.
3. Accounts and account security
You must provide an email address you control and keep your account information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your email and signed-in devices. Notify us promptly at support@getpagebell.com if you believe your account has been used without authorization.
You may not share access in a way that circumvents plan limits, impersonate another person, or create accounts through automated or deceptive means.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
When paid billing is enabled, the Starter subscription will be USD $9 per month and include up to three webpage monitors with approximately hourly checks. The current price, included features, and any applicable taxes will be shown before you purchase. Check timing is a target, not a service-level guarantee.
A monthly subscription automatically renews each month until you cancel it. You may cancel through the available billing or customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access normally continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Except where our Refund Policy or applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation does not produce a prorated refund for the current period.
When paid billing is enabled, Dodo Payments will act as the merchant of record and legal seller for the transaction. Dodo Payments will process payments, applicable taxes, receipts or invoices, refunds, and payment-related support under the purchase terms presented at checkout. PageBell does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
We may suspend paid features if a payment fails or is reversed. We may change prices or plan features prospectively, but will provide notice before a change applies to an existing renewal when required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You may use PageBell only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- monitor content you are not authorized to access or use the Service to violate another website's rights or applicable law;
- attempt to bypass logins, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, robots controls, rate limits, or other technical access restrictions;
- use PageBell for stalking, harassment, unlawful surveillance, discrimination, or collection of private or highly sensitive personal information;
- submit malicious code, attack or probe a system, interfere with the Service, or place an unreasonable load on PageBell or a third-party website;
- use the Service for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety- critical, or other high-stakes decisions where a missed or late alert could cause significant harm; or
- resell, copy, or commercially exploit the Service except with our prior written permission.
6. Third-party webpages and services
PageBell retrieves content from websites operated by others. We do not own, control, endorse, or guarantee those websites or their content. Website owners may change, remove, restrict, or block content or automated access at any time. You are responsible for complying with applicable law and any terms that govern your use of a monitored website.
The Service also depends on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, email delivery, and, when enabled, payments. Their outages, restrictions, and processing times may affect PageBell.
7. Availability and monitoring limitations
We aim to operate the Service reliably, but do not promise that a webpage can be monitored, that every change will be detected, that checks will occur at an exact time, or that every email will arrive immediately. Checks may fail or be delayed because of maintenance, network conditions, website changes, dynamic rendering, blocking, rate limits, email-provider filtering, or other circumstances.
PageBell may change extraction methods, check frequency, or other technical features to protect the Service and improve reliability. We may temporarily pause a monitor after repeated failures or when continued access may be abusive or unlawful.
8. Your instructions and monitored content
You retain any rights you have in the monitoring instructions and other content you submit. You give PageBell a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to retrieve, process, store, reproduce, and transmit that material only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and comply with law.
Content from a monitored webpage remains subject to the rights of its owner. Using PageBell does not give you ownership of that content or permission to use it beyond what the law and the website owner allow.
9. PageBell intellectual property
PageBell and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by PageBell or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. If you provide feedback, we may use it without restriction or compensation.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using PageBell at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, pause or remove monitors, or limit features if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, abuse the Service, or if continued operation is no longer reasonably possible. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to fix the issue.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." PageBell disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non- infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will detect any particular webpage change.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PageBell and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PageBell's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for PageBell during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where applicable law does not permit them.
13. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features as PageBell evolves. We may also update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms, change the effective date, and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law and disputes
Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in Shenzhen, Guangdong have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Service. Purchase and payment matters may also be governed by the separate buyer terms presented by Dodo Payments at checkout.
15. General terms
These Terms and the policies they reference are the agreement between you and PageBell about the Service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
